Hi wine friends…and Happy #WineWednesday! In this video, I taste and review the 2018 Liquid Geography, which is a rosé from Bierzo, Spain made with 100% Mencia grapes and imported by Olé & Obrigando.
Also, for the socially conscious wine lover, all profits are donated to three different charities — the TJ Martell Foundation to support its search for cancer cures, the South Bronx Educational Foundation to help children with challenging academic backgrounds, and to Wheeling Forward to help people with disabilities experience life to the fullest. If you know me well, you know both cancer research and education advocacy are both near and dear, so supporting both while drinking a delicious wine….it’s like Liquid Geography was made for me. Cheers!
- I bought my latest supply of Liquid Geography through DCANTER, my local wine shop, where the amazing Matt was was able to special order a case and a half for me. While they are local to DC, they can ship elsewhere in the country, as long as it’s legal for them to do so. So, he might be able to order some for you too, if you are wiling to grab several bottles.
- For the first time since I discovered it, I was i able to grab this wine from Wine.com. That said, they’re now sold out, but you can sign up for alerts for when/if they restock,
Questions of the Day:
- Where are you buying wines these days?
- Are you mostly ordering your wine online? Are you relying on local shops where you can pick-up or have it delivered or have you been focusing on the bigger retailers?
