A Fall White Wine — The Oro de Castilla Verdejo

Hi wine friends…and Happy #WineWednesday!  Today, I’m sharing the 2018 Oro de Castilla Verdejo by Bodegas Hermanos del Villar.  It’s a medium-bodied white wine from Rueda, Spain and costs $21. This wine came in my DCanter monthly wine club shipment. Cheers!

I also recommend checking out DCanter’s Instagram, as well as Matt “The Wine Store Guy’s” Instagram.

Finally, it was suggest that I  share the wines I’ll be tasting a week ahead of time.  Admittedly, that’s not always easy, as became clear this week when next week’s wine changed between my recording this video and my sharing it today, but next week’s wines will 3 Sherrys I received as samples — González Byass Alfonso Oloroso, Harveys Bristol Cream Solera Sherry, and one of my all-time favorites, the González Byass Nectar PX — and some Halloween candy pairing.

Question of the Day: Are you a Verdejo fan?  If so, do you have any winery favorites?
